The Justin Boxler Estate is a family-owned winery located in Niedermorschwihr, just 6 km from Colmar, in the heart of Alsace.
The vineyard covers 11 hectares, with several Grands Crus terroirs planted on often steep slopes. Passed down from generation to generation, the estate cultivates Alsatian grape varieties using organic farming methods, respecting the environment and natural balance.
Each generation contributes to evolving practices while preserving the estate’s identity.
The vineyard spans five villages, with a predominant presence in Katzenthal and Niedermorschwihr.
This varied parcel includes four Alsace Grand Crus—spread across steeply sloped hillsides—as well as a remarkable limestone terroir, the “Lieu-dit Pfoeller.”
This geographical and geological diversity allows for a refined expression of Alsatian grape varieties, closely tied to the specific characteristics of each soil and microclimate.
Our wines are a faithful reflection of their places of origin, expressed in the most unique way, with no influence other than that of the Alsatian microclimate. Produced from a selection of predominantly granite and marl-limestone plots, located on the steep, sunny slopes of Niedermorschwihr, Katzenthal, Turckheim, and Ingersheim, they reflect the diversity and richness of our terroirs.
The grapes are harvested by hand and then gently pressed for approximately six hours to preserve all their aromatic finesse.
Fermentation takes place naturally in century-old oak barrels using indigenous yeasts. The wines are then aged on fine lees throughout the winter, before being bottled at the end of summer.

After a two-year absence, Muscat and Pinot Noir Rosé are back on our menu! Two wines full of character, designed to accompany your sunny moments.
Pinot Noir [Kritt] is a new cuvée presented for the first time with the 2022 vintage. Coming from a massal selection plot originating in Burgundy, this Pinot Noir was deliberately planted closer to the ground to promote optimal ripening.
The grapes were carefully hand-picked into 40-kg perforated baskets to preserve the integrity of the berries until they reached the winery.
For vinification, we opted for whole-bunch maceration, made possible by the exceptional quality of the vintage.
We also created a “mille-feuille” of whole-bunch and destemmed grapes, achieving a subtle balance between freshness, structure, and complexity.
The prolonged exchange between the solid parts and the juice has offered a finer texture and increased elegance. To reveal the full potential of this cuvée, we aged it for two winters in 500 L barrels and demi-muids, to further refine the mouthfeel, for a silky grain and additional depth.
