Grown on Bathonian and Bajocian limestone terroir, this hillside vineyard overlooks the commune of Ingersheim. The wine comes from a single plot, the “Erdhauser,” planted in part in 1976 and 1992.
The harvest is carried out entirely by hand.
The juices ferment naturally using indigenous yeasts, revealing the purity of the fruit and the authenticity of the terroir.
The wine is aged on fine lees for nearly a year in century-old oak barrels, followed by bottle aging before being offered for tasting.

This wine is made from a blend of two plots: the “Herrenberg”, planted in 1979, and the “Schorr”, planted in 1989.
The harvest is carried out entirely by hand.
The juices ferment naturally under the influence of indigenous yeasts, revealing the purity of the fruit and the identity of the terroir.
The wine is aged on fine lees for almost a year in old, century-old oak barrels, followed by aging in the bottle before being offered for tasting.

This wine comes from two parcels grouped under the name “Stichlen,” planted in 1980. Harvested by hand, the grapes ferment naturally with indigenous yeasts, revealing the full finesse of the fruit and the unique character of the terroir. The wine is aged on fine lees for almost a year in century-old oak barrels, followed by bottle aging before being released for tasting.

“Steep and sunny soils, up to 45° slope”

The geological richness of Alsace is composed of thirteen varieties of wine-growing soils, forming a unique mosaic of terroirs conducive to the production of wines with a strong personality.
At the Justin Boxler estate, the soils are mainly divided between granite (Brand, Sommerberg, Wineck-Schlossberg), limestone (Florimont, Pfoeller), as well as clay and marl-sandstone.
Double-mica granitic:

Colline du Soleil : Grand Cru du Sommerberg, located in Niedermorschwihr, covers 29 hectares of this hill inclined at 45°, facing due south.

Tierra del Fuego: the Grand Cru Brand, located in Turckheim, extends over 58 hectares of this arc-shaped hillside.

Castle Hill : The Wineck-Schlossberg Grand Cru, in Katzenthal, occupies 28 hectares of this area.
Limestone:

Mont Fleurie : the Grand Cru Florimont, in Ingersheim, extends over 21 hectares of this arc-shaped hillside.
